Raised in a musical family in Margaree Forks, Lisa Cameron is a Cape Breton singer-songwriter whose original music draws from the people, places and experiences of island life. She has released three albums of original material—End of Blue, Through the Winter and Unspoken—with influences ranging from folk to country.

Lisa is joined by her husband and longtime musical partner, Vern MacDougall. Together they have become familiar performers at venues around Cape Breton, with Vern's accompaniment providing a natural complement to Lisa's songs and storytelling.
