Join us for three evenings of Cape Breton tradition as Stephanie MacDonald and Amanda MacDougall bring fiddle, flute, and local charm to the Red Shoe stage.
👩🏫 Stephanie MacDonald
Raised in Whycocomagh, Inverness County, Stephanie first picked up the fiddle and began step dancing at age five. A graduate of the Gaelic College, she performs widely—from square dances and community ceilidhs to festivals in PEI, Ontario, Boston, and Scotland. Stephanie also teaches high school chemistry, math, and music at Dalbrae Academy, leads fiddle and dance workshops, and serves on the Board of the Cape Breton Fiddlers’ Association
🎶 Amanda MacDougall
Born and raised in Judique, Cape Breton, Amanda started step dancing at age 4, then picked up the piano a few years later. She earned her BA, BEd, and MEd from St. FX, teaching music at both high school and elementary levels. Amanda has taught privately, at the Gaelic College, and performed alongside many of Cape Breton's top fiddlers
Come early, grab a table, and enjoy three easygoing nights of tunes, food, and familiar faces.
