HOWIE MACDONALD, BEVERLY MACLEAN & GUEST BRING GENERATIONS OF CAPE BRETON MUSICAL TRADITION TO SUNDAY MATINÉE AT THE RED SHOE.
Howie MacDonald has been a prominent part of Cape Breton’s traditional music scene for decades. Originally from Westmount, Cape Breton County, he has performed extensively throughout his career, both as a solo artist and during his years touring and recording with the Rankin Family.
Beverly MacLean, from Southside Boularderie, is deeply rooted in Cape Breton’s traditional music. A longtime presence at dances, ceilidhs and concerts across the island, she has also brought Cape Breton music to audiences well beyond Nova Scotia.
Howie and Beverly are joined by a special guest for a Sunday afternoon of traditional Cape Breton music at the Red Shoe.
