🎻 Graham Mackenzie
A Highlands-born innovator from Inverness, Graham began playing violin at six and studied at Bach-level institutions like the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Twice a finalist for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award, he’s since won the Highland Young Musician title, performed at the BBC Proms, and released acclaimed works like The Dawning. Graham composes original tunes, writes for orchestra, and tours across Europe and North America, blending tradition with adventurous innovation.
🎻 Troy MacGillivray
A Cape Breton treasure from Lanark, Troy began step dancing at six, added fiddle and piano soon after, and taught at the Gaelic College by age 13 With an M.A. in Ethnomusicology from University of Limerick, he’s performed and taught from the North Pole to Afghanistan. His solo albums have been nominated for ECMAs and CFMAs, and in 2012 he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for cultural contributions.
