Baddeck’s Rachel Davis is one of Cape Breton’s most acclaimed fiddlers and singers. A core member of the award-winning group Còig, she has toured across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., France, and Australia—earning a reputation for her driving style, warm voice, and deep respect for tradition.

On piano, Jason Roach brings fearless accompaniment and rhythmic fire. Known for his bold, inventive style, Jason has played with many of the island’s finest, from Ashley MacIsaac to Chrissy Crowley. As a member of Còig, his high-energy playing is a perfect match for Rachel’s dynamic fiddle.
