We’re delighted to welcome a pair of musicians who know how to bring a room to life.
Koryne MacDonald started playing fiddle at 10 years old in Eastern Ontario, surrounded by Gaelic music and culture. She performed early on with the MacLeod Fiddlers, later recording with them and touring across Canada and the U.S. with groups like Scotch River Fiddles and The Scottish Accent. With strong family ties to Washabuck and summers spent on the island, she moved to Nova Scotia in 2016 and now calls Colindale home. You’ll find her regularly playing for ceilidhs, square dances, concerts, and community events.

Ceila Cameron, from Inverness, started piano and step dancing at age seven. While she trained classically in her early years, a weekend at the Gaelic College sparked a shift, pulling her into the Cape Breton style of piano accompaniment. She’s gone on to accompany fiddlers at KitchenFest!, Celtic Colours, and local ceilidhs from Port Hood to Mabou. Whether it’s a quiet set or a lively dance tune, Ceila brings solid rhythm and a clean, traditional touch to every tune.
