Donna Marie DeWolfe 🎻
Fiddle • River Tillard, Cape Breton
Donna Marie picked up the fiddle at age 10, continuing a proud musical lineage—her great‑grandfather was a fiddler, while her maternal grandfather both played and built fiddles. Raised in a home steeped in traditional Cape Breton tunes, she credits Shelly Campbell, Donald Angus Beaton, and Arthur Muise as big influences. Now a sought‑after performer across the island, Donna Marie brings high‑energy, soulful playing to ceilidhs, dances, and festivals, with regular appearances in Cheticamp, Judique, Mabou and beyond.
Allan Dewar 🎹
Piano/Keyboard • Cape Breton
Allan's deep roots in Cape Breton tradition took hold early—by age 8 he was learning piano by ear, sitting in on family music sessions and house parties. His first gigs were playing guitar for his sister and piano for his mother—guided by advice to “do it right if you’re going to do it at all”. Over a storied career, Allan toured globally with legends like Jerry Holland and was a full-time member of Natalie MacMaster's band from 2001–2006. He now serves as Music Director at the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre and is a much-loved accompanist at pubs, dances, and theatres near and far.
