An easygoing Sunday set of pipes, fiddle, piano, and guitar—rooted in Cape Breton tradition and shaped by today’s players.
Cameron MacNeil — Cape Breton piper; began at age 10, member of the Cape Breton Island Pipe Band, longtime youth camper and duty piper at the Gaelic College; student at the Beinn Mhàbu campus of Cape Breton University.
Màili MacKenzie — Fiddler from Kensaleyre, Isle of Skye; started at 7, trained at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music (Plockton); has performed at Skye Live, Blas, and Celtic Colours; completed her first year at Beinn Mhàbu.
Iain MacQuarrie — Inverness County pianist/fiddler; comes from a musical family, first on stage as a step-dancer; steeped in “Scottish tunes,” with summers at the Gaelic College where his mother Cheryl taught dance.
Malcolm MacNeil — Guitar and fiddle; active across the Cape Breton scene, with deep roots in the tradition; has shared the stage with Heather Rankin and The Barra MacNeils; graduated from St. FX Jazz Studies in 2024.
