πŸ•– 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM | No Cover
Thursday nights are made for music and mouthwatering Steaks at The Red Shoe Pub! Join us for an evening with Cape Breton’s own Rob MacLean is a seasoned guitarist and singer known for his warm stage presence and smooth blend of folk, blues, and classic acoustic rock.

Rob MacLean is a Capeβ€―Breton-based singer-songwriter from Whycocomagh, Inverness County (originally raised in Montreal), celebrated for his soulful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and intricate guitar work.
He grew up in a musically rich family, absorbing a range of stylesβ€”from classic rock and country to East Coast folkβ€”which laid the foundation for his unique sound.

As a teen, Rob picked up the guitar and began writing songs infused with emotional honesty and strong storytelling and a hallmark of his performances today. After years in local bands, he embarked on a solo career, releasing two albums: the critically-acclaimed Two Little Angels and Live (with fellow Cape Breton artist Cyrilβ€―MacPhee)

Rob's live shows are intimate and engaging, from cozy pubs and festivals to main stages across the Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario. His music invites listeners on a journey through the landscapes of his heart and mind, grounded firmly in acoustic tradition.

He's also a familiar face at regional festivals such as Celtic Colours and the Acoustic Roots Festival.

Pair your steak with some soulβ€”see you there.
