Mabou’s Andrea Beaton comes from the Beaton and MacMaster musical families and is an accomplished Cape Breton fiddler, composer and step dancer.

Troy MacGillivray of Lanark, Nova Scotia, is an accomplished fiddler, pianist and step dancer whose music is rooted in the province’s Scottish and Gaelic traditions. Together, Andrea and Troy bring years of musical experience and collaboration to the Red Shoe.
